Our state’s minimum wage hasn’t been raised in 14 years. It is also lower than any surrounding state. Dan supports ongoing efforts to raise the minimum wage to at least $15/hour.
Institute a program for EVERY Pennsylvanian adult 18+ to receive $500/month and every child under 18 to receive $250. Paid for out of a fund set up using funding from Federal Rescue Plan.

One of the biggest driving factors in PA Property Taxes. Whether public or private, charter schools need to be held to the same standards as public schools.
There are currently “rich” schools and “poor” schools throughout PA. This provides opportunities to some and not others. It also does a disservice to the taxpayers as the cost per student varies greatly. A more balanced approach will help both students and taxpayers.

Addiction is a disease, not a crime. Dan supports partnering with local healthcare providers and other stakeholders to develop safe injection sites and expanding treatment options.
Dan respects our area’s hunting tradition. He has hunters in his family and has no desire to see that changed. He would like to see stronger measures in place to stop those with bad intentions and intent on doing harm.
Our people are suffering. The stress of the pandemic, economic strains and a variety of other issues have people stretched to their limits and beyond. Dan supports investing in providing greater support for those that need it. Through workforce expansion, healthcare partnerships, professional and crisis training programs.
Dan supports abolishing the death penalty and doing away with capital punishment. Government should be a reflection of us and it's not up to us whether someone lives or dies.

There are currently no state laws providing legal protections for the LGBTQ+ community. This needs to change. Dan is committed to ensuring all citizens are protected against discrimination.
There are many disparities in our legal system. Dan supports efforts to reduce and end racial profiling, hold people accountable for their actions, and offer support to those re-entering society.
We need to expand voting rights and opportunities in Pennsylvania. Dan supports opening our primary elections and instituting ranked choice voting. One person. One vote.
Dan will introduce legislation to slash lawmaker pay by 1/3rd bringing it in line with the median salary of Pennsylvania.
State legislators work for the people not special interests. It’s imperative we institute a ban on what lobbyists can provide to lawmakers.
So many of us are one illness away from catastrophe. It is imperative that Pennsylvanians have access to the care they need when they need it. Regardless of income or work status.
