Dan is an IVF dad and has proudly been endorsed by Planned Parenthood Pennsylvania Advocates. He knows how important it is for everyone to be able to make choices about how and when to start a family. Having a teenage daughter means he is committed to ensuring women have access to all necessary healthcare without government interference.

Fair Funding - In 2023, it was ruled that the PA Legislature has been ‘illegally’ funding our public schools. This has left our local districts in northern York county underfunded by as much as $14 million dollars. Dan is committed to fairly funding our schools to make sure they have the ability to improve performance, maintain facilities, hire the best staff and provide every opportunity for our children.

Perhaps the greatest factor driving the increase in PA property taxes, aside from the legislatures funding failure is charter schools. Currently, charter schools are not held to the same academic standards as public schools. Additionally, they spend millions on things like advertising, professional sporting events and concerts. That money is taking opportunities and resources away from kids who can’t afford those luxuries.
DEVELOPMENT
Preserving the qualities of our rural landscape is vitally important to Dan. He has stood with local citizens in Carroll Twp. and now in Dover to fight against large warehouse developments. Having seen the impact in Newberry and other areas of the county. It is important we build relationships with those who want to be community partners. Helping to provide emergency services and preserve greenspaces to ensure we retain the character of northern York County.

Dan will introduce legislation to slash lawmaker pay by 1/3rd bringing it in line with the median salary of Pennsylvania. Pay would then be tied to inflation/median income.
